The crops harvest of western region of Sudan (Kordufan) had started early this month, as the demand is quite high for some crops such as sesame and groundnuts. The first arrival of these crops came in low grade and high moisture content which is still not the considered commercial grade demanded by exporters.
The commercial quantities are expected to arrive to local market by the second week of November, the news spread widely about a very good harvest this season.
the situation is quite similar at the eastern region of Gadariff, where sesame producers are also having weeks ahead for their crop to reach the market and show up prices.
